AZAL will resume direct scheduled passenger flights on the Baku‑Astrakhan route from September 30, 2026, Astrakhan International Airport reported.
Flights will operate three times a week — on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays — with a flight time of 1 hour 25 minutes on Embraer E‑190 aircraft.
The carrier currently serves three Russian cities — Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Yekaterinburg — and the new route will expand its network.
