Azerbaijan's Mine Action Agency reported that nearly 170 mines were neutralised and about 1,400 pieces of unexploded ordnance were cleared during the first week of September.
Demining operations covered 13 districts and the city of Khankendi, with approximately 1,700 hectares of land cleared of mine threats.
