A press conference of the Council of the North Caucasus Economic Cooperation Association was held in Moscow today. The conference was attended by Karachay-Cherkessian leader Rashid Temezov, Dagestani President Ramazan Abdulatipov, Acting Governor of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirov, Ingush leader Yunus-bek Yevkurov, Acting Head of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Yury Kokov, North Ossetian leader Taymuraz Mamsurov and Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov.

Dagestan signs agreement with Russian Railways

Dagestan signs agreement with Russian Railways

On December 6th, the head of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdulatipov, and the head of the Directorate of Railway Stations of a branch of Russian Railways, Sergey Obramov, signed an agreement for the reconstruction of railway stations in the country. The project also provides the building of commuting hubs at the railway stations and reconstruction of areas located near railway stations. It is expected that the construction will feature innovative technologies to provide maximum comfort to travellers. Particular attention will be paid to passengers with disabilities. The project will be co-funded.

Lomonosov, signed a cooperation deal at the university at Leninskiye Gory in Moscow yesterday. Sadovnichy recalled that he had known the president since his work at the Council of Rectors as head of a Russian university.

Dagestani Leader Ramazan Abdulatipov said that the republic offered accomodation for residents of the Far East who had suffered from floods in September. He reminded that the population of Dagestan had donated a daily wage to help the Far East, they took part in the Vmeste charity program of Channel One and wanted to help more.

Dagestani President Ramazan Abdulatipov has sent a message to the Dagestani community in Azerbaijan to vote for Ilham Aliyev at the presidential polls of October 9, 2013.He reminded that thousands of Dagestanis were living in Azerbaijan, the two republics had an agreement to cooperate in trade, science and culture, they had joint economic and cultural programs.Abdulatipov said that Aliyev had been at power for 10 years and called him an authority in the eyes of his citizens and Russian society.
