The fourth edition of the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum has opened today in the Georgian capital. The forum will be held between Thursday and Friday.
The forum is attended by Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, their counterpart from Montenegro and the Vice President of the Asian Development Bank.
The latest edition of the large-scale event initiated by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili in 2015 opened in the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet State Theatre. Up to 2,000 delegates from 60 countries from both governmental and private sectors will attend the Forum to discuss global economic challenges, ways to solve them, and aspects and perspectives of cooperation for connectivity.
The Forum’s key topics for discussion will include a new architecture of the East-West trade, the increasing role of the Middle Corridor logistics route between China and Europe, digital connectivity, diversification in the energy sector, tourism sustainability and diversified investments for a resilient future.
