The Georgian government is set to simplify temporary residence permits for foreign IT professionals, with amendments to the Law on the Legal Status of Foreigners and Stateless Persons.
The new rules will apply to foreign citizens working in IT, authorised representatives of international IT companies, and foreigners registered as individual entrepreneurs with small business status.
The move is expected to help international IT companies hire foreign staff more easily.
