Iran is now counterattacking not only Israel but also U.S. military bases across the Middle East, primarily those located in Arab states of the Persian Gulf.

Following its initial retaliatory strike on Israel, Iran - as it had previously warned - launched missile attacks on nearby U.S. military installations in the Middle East, specifically targeting facilities in Gulf countries.

Regional media are reporting explosions in several Arab nations. One of the first impacts of Iranian missiles was in the Bahraini capital, Manama. Reports indicate that Iran's target in Bahrain was a facility servicing the U.S. Fifth Fleet, which sustained damage in the missile strike.

Subsequently, reports emerged of strikes on Al-Dhafra Air Base, a U.S. facility in the United Arab Emirates. Almost simultaneously, explosions were heard in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi.

Following this, reports of explosions came in from Kuwait.

All Gulf states have announced the closure of their airspace. While Qatar reported that its air defense systems successfully intercepted all incoming Iranian missiles, reports later emerged of explosions in Doha.

Shortly thereafter, information surfaced indicating that Iranian missiles were also heading toward a more distant Middle Eastern nation - Jordan - which also hosts a U.S. military base.

Additionally, U.S. facilities in Iraq and Saudi Arabia have been targeted.
