The Turkish Parliament approved a bill on the ratification of the protocol on Finland's accession to NATO during a meeting of the General Assembly of the Mejlis.
From that moment on, Finland received legal grounds for full accession to the North Atlantic Alliance.
Earlier, the Turkish side was the last of the NATO members, which disapproved of Helsinki's application to join the Alliance.
