Former Prime Minister Garibashvili and former head of the State Security Service (SSS) Grigol Liluashvili are at the center of an investigation by Georgian law enforcement agencies.
Several former Georgian officials are at the subjects of investigations. Searches are being conducted at the homes of government officials. Former Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and former head of the State Security Service (SSS) Grigol Liluashvili are under suspicion.
$7 mln, over 130,000 lari, nearly 170 electronic devices, and documentation were seized from the former officials. Experts are examining the devices and documents to determine their sources of funding. The former officials are not detained.
