The Israeli army carried out airstrikes on the Rafah border crossing today, according to the Times of Israel.
"Terror operatives attacked Israeli troops in Rafah this morning and the IDF responded with airstrikes",
the report reads.
Al-Arabiya news channel reported the Israeli Air Force executed three separate strikes against Rafah targets.
The Rafah crossing serves as Gaza's primary border connection with Egypt and critical humanitarian aid corridor. Israeli authorities previously announced its closure until Hamas returns all hostage remains.
The strikes follow US accusations of Hamas violating the October 10 ceasefire agreement, which the Palestinian movement has denied.
