Speaking to Anadolu Agency, First Deputy Director General Kirill Komarov reported that Rosatom's revenue from international projects has increased from $9 billion to $18 billion over the past three years.
"Between 2022 and 2024, Rosatom's international revenue has grown from $9 billion to $18 billion. The order book remains stable at around $200 billion",
Kirill Komarov stated.
The revenue growth reflects both the implementation of existing contracts and the signing of new agreements.
Rosatom currently represents over 85% of nuclear power plants under construction globally. Komarov attributed recent growth to nuclear energy development in Global South countries, which now constitute over 80% of the company's portfolio, compared to an equal share with Western countries three years ago.
"Three years ago, orders were equally divided between Western and Southern countries. Today, over 80% comes from Global South nations, which require development and significant volumes of energy",
Komarov emphasized.
