Two earthquakes rock Caspian Sea

Two earthquakes were recorded in the Caspian Sea on March 16, according to data from the Republican Seismic Service Center of Azerbaijan's National Academy of Sciences.

The first tremor registered a magnitude of 3.3, followed by a second measuring 3.1. Hypocentres of both earthquakes were located at a depth of 74 kilometres.

No injuries or material damage have been reported following the earthquakes.
