Russian president’s rating improves in Dagestan

The Rodnoy Dagestan Movement and the Narodnoye Mneniye Foundation questioned 1650 people aged 18 and above in Dagestan. Khabib Davudov, head of the Rodnoy Dagestan Movement and President of the Narodnoye Mneniye Foundation said that 91% of people questioned were positive about the first 100 days of Dagestani Leader Ramazan Abdulatipov at power.

Heads of regions have been appointed by Russian president and approved by regional MPs. Dagestani acting President Ramazan Abdulatipov made a two-day visit to Turkey to attend a Russian cultural festival and a business forum. He met Istanbul Governor Huseyin Avni Mutlu and proposed formation of a Dagestani cultural center for the Dagestani community in Istanbul. Abdulatipov reminded that Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan had built such centers.

Acting Dagestani leader receives highest results in ratings of NCFD leaders

 Acting Dagestani leader Ramazan Abdulatipov topped the rating of heads of the subjects of the NCFD, it was announced by the Public Opinion Foundation.In March 2013 the POF conducted a survey identifying the top three most active regional governors.Interviewers in the North Caucasus needed to answer only one question - how regional leaders cope with their jobs: well or badly. Three top names in the rating included the head of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdulatipov, the head of Karachay-Cherkessia, Rashid Temrezov, and the head of Kabardino-Balkaria, Arsen Kanokov.
