Moscow may host normalization talks between Türkiye and Syria

The next ministerial meeting on the Turkish-Syrian normalization may be held in Moscow. The relevant issue was discussed at the recent talks of deputy ministers.

The Russian Federation, Iran, Syria, and Türkiye may hold another meeting at the level of foreign ministers in the Russian capital, the head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.

According to Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, the possibility of negotiations was discussed by the deputy ministers at the consultations that took place recently in Moscow. Following the meeting of deputy ministers in the Russian capital, a ministerial meeting may be held, he clarified.

According to the head of the Turkish diplomatic mission, the parties are waiting for an invitation from the Russian Federation.
