The embassies of the Republic of Kazakhstan in various countries around the world have a new function. According to the decree of the Kazakh government of July 10, they will be able to work with the foreign passports of their compatriots now. For this purpose, changes have been made to a number of documents.
Thus, from now on, the regulations on the Kazakh Foreign Ministry include a new clause: it is given the right to registrate, issue, replace, withdraw and destroy the passport of a citizen of Kazakhstan when they apply to the embassies of the republic, AiF-Kazakhstan reports.
Diplomats are also instructed to inform ethnic Kazakhs and their children who wish to move to their homeland about the requirements for entry and quotas in the regions determined by the country’s government for this, as well as about the conditions of reception and social measures to support migrants.
