4.9-magnitude earthquake recorded in Antalya

An earthquake measuring 4.9 magnitude has hit the Antalya province in southwestern Türkiye. The tremor was detected in the Serik district, according to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).

Seismologists report the quake's hypocenter was located at a depth of 28 kilometers. There have been no immediate reports of damage or casualties.

This follows a 4.6 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Türkiye's Van province on Sunday evening. There were no reports of damage.
