The head of the IAEA stated that the organization wants to verify whether the area around Iran's nuclear facilities is currently unsafe. He also noted that the Islamic Republic currently has far more than three facilities at its disposal.
According to the agency's Director General, Rafael Grossi, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) wants to get from Iran access to the country’s nuclear facilities.
He noted that IAEA specialists want to verify the Islamic Republic's claims that the facilities are unsafe and inaccessible.
The agency's director also explained how they plan to justify their continued presence in Iran and the need for inspections, given the United States' claim that all Iranian nuclear facilities have been destroyed.
