Chinese leader announces rapid development of strategic partnership with Azerbaijan

President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping has sent a congratulatory letter to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of his birthday, the Azerbaijani president's press service reported.

Xi stressed that under their strategic leadership, the Baku-Beijing comprehensive strategic partnership is developing rapidly. According to him, political mutual trust between the two countries continues to strengthen, and mutually beneficial cooperation is steadily advancing, with international interaction being implemented fruitfully.

"Over the course of this year, we have met twice, and the important agreements we reached are being effectively and comprehensively put into practice. I attach great importance to the development of relations between China and Azerbaijan," Xi Jinping said.

The Chinese leader expressed readiness to make every effort with Ilham Aliyev to achieve new results in their comprehensive cooperation for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
