The Georgian Justice for Peace party not only changed its leadership, but also addressed directly to Vladimir Putin with a number of proposals, including softening of visa requirements, deporting illegal migrants and simplifying the employment of Georgian citizens in the Russian Federation.

Today, the opposition party Justice for Peace, not associated with Mikheil Saakashvili, published a video appeal to Russian leader Vladimir Putin asking him to lift the remaining visa restrictions for Georgian citizens to enter Russia.

Currently, Georgian citizens may stay in Russia without visa for 90 days on specific purposes. The opposition Georgian party proposed allowing free entry into the Russian Federation.
