The US has temporarily stopped supplying ammunition to allies to replenish its own stockpiles, President Donald Trump said, according to Newsmax.
"We’ve been keeping the ammunition for ourselves lately because we need it ourselves. Once we’ve replenished our stockpiles sufficiently, we’ll allow our allies to buy it from us again",
Trump said.
Trump added that he does not intend to give ammunition to the European Union for free, saying Europe must pay.
