Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to Azerbaijan on August 18-19, the Kremlin press service confirmed.
The talks will focus on advancing the strategic partnership and alliance between Moscow and Baku, as well as addressing key international and regional issues, the statement reads.
"Based on the results of the visit, a Joint Declaration by the heads of state is expected to be adopted, intergovernmental and other documents will be signed," the Kremlin said.
