An operation led by Turkish intelligence agencies targeted persons connected to ISIS (banned in Russia as a terrorist organization), according to TRT Haber.
Security forces identified 24 suspects with ties to the terrorist network, including 9 foreign fighters involved in recruitment and maintaining communication with ISIS leadership.
Raids were conducted at 22 locations across 11 districts, resulting in 21 detentions, while 3 individuals remain at large.
