Armenia intends to formalize strategic partnership through bilateral agreement with Iran, Prime Minister Pashinyan confirmed during post-government meeting briefing, noting the high level of relations between the countries.
"We want to sign a strategic cooperation document with Iran",
Nikol Pashinyan said.
The development of a strategic document had been previously announced, with Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Sobhani noting in February 2025 that both nations were drafting comprehensive agreements establishing long-term frameworks for full-scale bilateral development.
