George Zakarashvili has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Azerbaijan.
According to Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Zakarashvili has many years of experience working at the ministry’s central office and at Georgia’s diplomatic missions.
Zakarashvili’s term as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Ukraine and Permanent Representative of Georgia to GUAM, which he has held since 2021, will expire on October 1, 2026.
