The Georgian parliament will reconvene for its autumn session at the beginning of next week.

The session is scheduled for Tuesday, September 2.

This autumn, deputies will focus on passing several significant laws, including approval of the national budget for 2026.

Immediately after returning from vacation, parliamentarians will consider the resignation of the current head of the State Security Service of Georgia, Anri Okhanashvili, and the approval of Mamuka Mdinaradze for this position.

In addition to this, it is planned to discuss the issue of recognizing the powers of 12 deputies from the "For Georgia" party list, following the revocation of mandates from previous deputies due to the fact that they missed parliamentary sessions.

One of the session’s key agenda items will be the consideration of the report of the parliamentary investigative commission.
