In two days, employees of Azerbaijani non-governmental organizations will gather in Zangilan. They will discuss the current work and talk about the environmental problems of the region provoked by Armenia, and methods of improving the environmental situation.
On Monday, the first Forum of interaction between non-governmental organizations of Azerbaijan will be held in Zangilan. The event will last two days.
Employees of nearly 200 NGOs submitted applications to participate in the forum.
The participants of the forum will discuss three key topics:
- the prospects for the work of Azerbaijani NGOs;
- environmental damage caused by mining enterprises in Armenia;
- organization of COP29 in Baku and the fight against destructive climate change.
The forum was organized by the state agency for supporting NGOs and the Azerbaijan National Forum of Non-Governmental Organizations.
