According to the Georgian Ministry of Economy, the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between Georgia and the UAE has entered into force.

The Ministry noted that this document provides for simplification of the export of Georgian products and services to this Arab country. In particular, Georgian beef and mutton, nuts, mineral water, honey, textiles and much more will enter the UAE market.

"Georgia's attractiveness is enhanced by the fact that the country has a free trade agreement with two large economies - the European Union and China",

the Deputy Head of the Ministry Genadi Arveladze said.

He emphasized that Georgia's strategic advantage allowed Arab companies to take advantage of investment opportunities and gain access to the European and Chinese markets.

Arveladze also drew attention to the fact that the document signed with the UAE was, in fact, a new generation free trade agreement that would help further economic integration of the two countries.
