A Belarusian mountaineer who was going to climb Mount Terskolak has disappeared in Kabardino-Balkaria, a search and rescue operation is underway.
A search and rescue operation is underway in Kabardino-Balkaria. The rescuers are looking for a mountaineer who arrived from Belarus and is out of reach, the republican department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
The emergency occurred in the Elbrussky district. A resident of Belarus, a 26-year-old man, was going to climb Mount Terskolak, which is 3800 meters high.
"The unregistered tourist has not been in touch since September 3,”
– the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
