The United States has removed Turkish shipbuilding company Kuzey Star from its sanctions list, according to a US Treasury Department announcement.

The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) confirmed the company's removal from restrictions originally imposed as part of measures against Russia.

No specific reason was provided for the decision to delist the company.

The move follows recent US sanctions against nearly 40 entities and individuals from Iran, China, and Türkiye involved in military supply chains to Iran.
