Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan spoke by phone with Chairwoman of Russia's Federation Council of the Federal Assembly Valentina Matviyenko.
The phone call took place at the Russian side’s request, the Armenian parliament’s press service said.
Details related to the Armenian Speaker of Parliament’s upcoming official visit to Russia, expected on February 5-6, were discussed.
Other matters pertaining to the bilateral agenda were also discussed.
