Wineries located in Georgia's Kakheti region processed approximately 60,000 tons of grapes by the end of September, the National Wine Agency reported.
The agency reported that factories processed just over 29,000 tons of Saperavi grapes and just over 28,000 tons of Rkatsiteli grapes.
The rtveli grape harvest season is currently at its peak in Georgia, with the most active harvesting taking place in Dedoplistskaro, Sighnaghi, Gurjaani, and other districts of Kakheti.
Approximately 4,500 Georgian farmers have delivered their grapes to processing facilities across the region.
