Russia is committed to resolving issues related to the railway management concession in Armenia through dialogue and is ready to continue working under the existing arrangement, Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk said.

"We support resolving all these issues through consultation, dialogue, and in a completely calm manner. We are ready to continue working and continue the concession in Armenia",

Overchuk said.

According to Overchuk, Moscow has not received any official requests from Yerevan to end the partnership, though Russian officials are aware of public statements.

The debate over the concession intensified this summer after several Armenian politicians called for ending the partnership with Russia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan raised the possibility of charging Russia rent for using Armenian railways.
