The Association of Tour Operators of Russia denied media reports that Russian tour operators have not suspended sales of trips to Afghanistan, as they have never started them.
Tourism to Afghanistan is unavailable from Russian tour operators that are members of ATOR, the association reports.
ATOR clarified that no company is selling such tours or sold them in the past.
"ATOR member companies did not begin selling any trips to Afghanistan in the summer of 2025, and therefore cannot suspend them,”
– ATOR informed.
