The Azerbaijani rhythmic gymnastics team qualified for the Olympic Games in Paris during the European Championships in Budapest.
The group, which includes Laman Alimuradova, Kamilla Aliyeva, Elizaveta Luzan, Gullu Agalarzade and Daria Sorokina, successfully proved itself in the all-around.
The athletes received 36.750 points for the exercise with five hoops. They also received 33.150 points for the exercise with three ribbons and two balls. In total, the gymnasts scored 70.200 points and won a license.
Thus, Azerbaijan won its second ticket to the Olympics in this sport. Before this, gymnast Zohra Agamirova qualified for the Olympics.
The Azerbaijani national team will perform in the finals of the championship in both categories.
It should be added that the group team qualified for the Olympics for the third time. Before this there were performances in 2008 and 2020.
