Armenia is ready to sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan promptly, Armenia's Deputy Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan said during the 10th BRICS Parliamentary Forum.
According to him, Yerevan is not only ready but also interested in becoming a part of international transit routes with the opening of regional communications.
"Armenia does not seek any territory beyond its internationally recognized borders and is prepared to engage in constructive and intensive efforts to advance the delimitation process and finalize a peace treaty promptly," Rubinyan said.
