President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in Dushanbe today at the invitation of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
The Azerbaijani head of state will participate in the meeting of the CIS Heads of State Council.
The Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev will hold talks in Dushanbe on October 9.
According to him, the Kremlin is optimistic about today's meeting. Peskov noted that the leaders of Russia and Azerbaijan will discuss challenging topics during their talks.
