Ushakov: Putin-Trump phone call could be easily arranged if necessary

Yuri Ushakov, a foreign policy aide to President Vladimir Putin, stated that a call between the Russian and U.S. leaders could be arranged fairly quickly if necessary.

"You see, this is all very easy to organize. Just remember how Anchorage itself was organized – in three days, and everyone agreed",

Yuri Ushakov said.

The aide to the Russian President emphasized that if the conditions for contact between the heads of state arise, either by telephone or in-person, it will be arranged "fairly quickly".

According to Ushakov, no such conversation between Putin and Trump is currently planned.
