Health authorities in Gaza have released figures on fatalities and injuries since the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel began. The report states that 376 people have been killed and 981 injured in hostilities during this period.
The ministry further reported that the total death toll since October 2023 has reached 70,300, with over 171,000 Palestinians injured.
The current ceasefire came into effect in October of this year. While the parties are preparing for the second phase of a peace plan, the process is stalled over the issue of disarming militant groups, and isolated clashes continue across the Gaza Strip.
