Law enforcement in North Ossetia has transferred an Interpol-wanted Georgian citizen to Georgian authorities, according to a statement from the region's Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The statement clarified that the wanted man had been transferred at the neutral territory of the Upper Lars-Dariali checkpoint.

The man had previously been placed on Interpol's wanted list on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and was detained in Moscow this spring.
