Lavrov discusses Russian-US relations with US Chamber of Commerce

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held talks with members of the US Chamber of Commerce in Russia to discuss the state of bilateral relations, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported today.

"During the meeting, the Minister outlined his assessment of current international trends and the prospects for Russian-US relations. This assessment takes into account the demonstrated commitment of the Trump administration to facilitating a sustainable resolution to the conflict in Ukraine",

Russia's Foreign Ministry said.

The Ministry added that the December 15 meeting featured a productive exchange of views on several key issues, highlighting the constructive role both nations' business communities could play in rebuilding trade and investment links.
