Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan on September 1 to discuss peace efforts in Ukraine and the Middle East, Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov said.
According to him, the Russian and Turkish leaders stay in constant contact.
"Of course, various issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as global agenda issues, will be discussed. Ukraine will certainly be discussed," Ushakov said.
The Russian President is set to attend the SCO summit in Tianjin this week before traveling to Beijing to take part in festivities marking the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the War against Japanese Aggression. The Russian leader is also expected to hold a number of bilateral summit meetings.
