Iran's security services managed to save the Islamic Republic's top leadership from death under Israeli and US attacks, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said. He emphasized that a war against Iran will not lead to a coup d'état.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi gave an interview to NBC News, in which he informed the US public that the primary goal of the US-Israeli attack on Tehran—the assassination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian—was not achieved.
Araghchi emphasized that both Khamenei and Pezeshkian are still alive, as far as the Foreign Ministry knows under the current circumstances. However, he did not elaborate or reveal the location of the Iranian spiritual leader and the president.
