Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani is visiting Riyadh, according to reports from IRNA.
The Iranian official is scheduled to meet with Saudi officials, including Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman Al Saud.
The discussions are expected to focus on strengthening economic cooperation.
Larijani’s visit represents a reciprocal gesture following the April trip to Tehran by Saudi Arabia's defense minister.
