Adygea's Deputy Agriculture Minister Abrek Sheozhev confirmed that almost all agricultural land in the republic is now under cultivation.
"Practically no unused land remains in our republic, with only isolated inaccessible plots excepted. Overall, all of our agricultural land, all of our arable land, is practically in use, <…> we strive to use it as efficiently as possible",
Abrek Sheozhev said.
The official reported a 20% increase in wheat yields this year while emphasizing continued agricultural exports. Adygea maintains export relationships with China and Azerbaijan, primarily shipping grain, sunflower oil, and cheese products.
