Georgia earned $3.2 million from bay leaf exports in February, with China and Russia emerging as the main buyers, according to the country's Ministry of Agriculture.
A total of 803 tons of bay leaves were shipped abroad during the month - a 60% increase compared to February of the previous year. Export revenue rose by 51% year-on-year, reaching $3.2 million.
China accounted for 68% of purchases, while Russia received 22% of Georgian bay leaf exports.
