During Georgia's government meeting held on September 8, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze confirmed that civil servant salaries would be raised in 2026.
"Salaries in the civil service will continue to grow. As in recent years, with annual 10% increases, civil servants will receive a 10% raise in 2026",
Irakli Kobakhidze said.
The increase will also apply to police officers, military personnel, bailiffs, and teachers, all receiving a 10% salary hike.
According to Trading Economics, the average salary in Georgia in 2025 is 2,170 lari.
