An Armenian court has extended the detention of Vardan Ghukasyan, the opposition mayor of Gyumri, for another two months.
"Vardan Ghukasyan's detention is extended for two months",
Judge Levon Petrosyan stated.
Ghukasyan is facing charges in an anti-corruption investigation and stands accused of accepting a bribe. He has pleaded not guilty to the allegations.
