Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on October 7, the Kremlin press service reported.
"In a phone call, President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan gave birthday greetings to Vladimir Putin, offering his best wishes," the statement reads.
The two leaders briefly discussed several pressing bilateral matters before exchanging views on the latest developments in the Middle East, as well as those pertaining to Ukraine.
