A formal reception for the heads of delegations of the SCO member states was held in Tianjin, with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Russian leader was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Chief of Staff, Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, Presidential Aide for International Affairs, Russian Ambassador to Beijing, and Presidential Special Representative for SCO Affairs.
On Monday, the official program starts with a Council of Heads of State meeting to review the SCO's 2024-2025 achievements, discuss strengthening the organization, and explore cooperation across various sectors.
The leaders of SCO member states, observer states, dialogue partners, as well as heads of international organizations and associations, including the UN, EEC, CSTO and ASEAN, have been invited to the summit in Tianjin.
