Slovenia has confirmed its decision to boycott Eurovision 2026 due to Israel's participation in the contest.
"The decision of Slovenian public broadcaster RTV was confirmed by its chairperson, Natalija Gorščak",
Slovenian National Agency STA reported.
It was previously reported that public broadcasters from Slovenia, Spain, the Netherlands, and Ireland plan to boycott the contest. The event will not be aired in these countries, and they will also withdraw their entries from the competition.
The decision follows yesterday's announcement confirming Israel's participation.
Next year's Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held in the Austrian capital, Vienna.
