Further expansion of trade relations with CIS countries - priority for Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov says

Azerbaijan considers it important to develop trade and economic ties with CIS countries, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov said.

Baku considers it extremely significant to further expand trade and economic ties with the Commonwealth of Independent States, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov said, addressing the CIS Heads of Government Council in Minsk.

He noted the continued growth of Azerbaijan's mutual trade with the CIS countries.

"Over the first 8 months of this year, Azerbaijan's trade with CIS member states increased by over 21% ($4.7 bln). Economic diversification remains one of our country's priorities,”
